- Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 - 8oz. cans of tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. fresh nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp. salt, 2 bay leaves
- 1/8 tsp. fresh ground pepper
- 1/2 cup Romano or parmesean cheese (Romano works best)
- Directions
- Sautee onion in olive oil until golden.
- Add meat to onions and brown.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and a glass of water.
- Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer a good couple hours.
