- Ingredients
- 2 cups of hot milk
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 cup of butter
- Salt and pepper
- Dash of nutmeg (for moussaka only)
- Directions
- Seperate eggs.
- Warm milk in sauce pan.
- In another sauce pan melt butter, add flour and stir until smooth.
- Lower heat and gradually add warm milk stirring constantly until thickens.
- Add egg yolks and stir.
- Season with salt and pepper (plus a dash of nutmeg for moussaka)
- Makes 2 cups.
