Vennie's Marinara
- Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 large onions
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 2 cans (28 oz. each) of crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz.) of tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. of dried Italian seasonings
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- Directions
- Mince garlic and chop onions.
- Heat the olive oil on medium heat in a kettle. Saute onions and garlic for about 4 minutes.
- Add crushed tomatoes and tomato paste to pot and stir well to combine.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well to incorporate.
- Cover pot and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. If mixture reaches more than a slow boil, reduce heat.
