Vennie's Marinara


  • Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 2 cans (28 oz. each) of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 oz.) of tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. of dried Italian seasonings
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar



  • Directions
  • Mince garlic and chop onions.
  • Heat the olive oil on medium heat in a kettle. Saute onions and garlic for about 4 minutes.
  • Add crushed tomatoes and tomato paste to pot and stir well to combine.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well to incorporate.
  • Cover pot and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. If mixture reaches more than a slow boil, reduce heat.
